LIFE ON BOARD

In order to, at least partially, bring you closer to the magic of the cruising, we´ll try to explain how the life on board looks like.

Along the coastline, a crystal clear sea, rocky coves, amazing hidden bays with sandy and pebble beaches, island villages with rich historical and cultural heritage, excellently preserved arhitecture, great Mediterranean cuisine, tradition protruding from every angle, yachts slowly gliding along the coast, great night life in the ports and magnificent silent nights away from ports...those are the experiences worth excaping from your everyday life.

You will broaden your cultural and historical knowledge by visiting several places in short amount of time, you will taste our delicious cuisine and during that time, you will enjoy your adventure diving, swimming, discovering the bays and the beaches and simply relaxing.

Your idyllic cruise will combine the touch of nature and history, providing the unforgettable memories all along your journey. Depending on your preferences, we will provide the most beautiful cruising possible, blending the nature and the most amazing port of calls, where you can enjoy cultural, historical and architectural heritage of Croatia, as well as our delicious cuisine in numerous of restaurants and good nigh life.

On your arrival to the boat, you will be welcomed and assisted into your cabins. The crew will help you settle your luggage. The cabins are carefully prepared and cleaned for each new group, as well as supplied with clean bed linen, towels and toilet items.

After that, you will assist the welcome and introducing meeting on the deck, where the captain will introduce you the crew members and shortly inform you about the boat ,the itinerary, the life on board, meals etc. and discuss with you about your preferences. After the introductory part, the meals and drinks will be served and you may start your cruising.

Usually, the cruising starts shortly upon your check in, to the closest port of call, but this depends on the guests´ arrival and the weather conditions.
When there is lot of crowd in the port, the gulet may be anchored in front of the port or in nearby bay, in case you prefer your privacy and peace.
The ports will provide you the perfect view of coastal life, from visiting historical heritage, melting with the locals, to exploring the tasteful meals in the restaurants and enjoying the night life.

The next day, the breakfast is served usually outdoor at the large table, and the gulet cruises to the next port of call, stopping in one of the numerous hidden bays so you could enjoy the water sports, swimming, diving, snorkelling, water skiing, jumping from the boat to the sea, sun bathing or just relaxing on the deck.
Our crew will take care that you enjoy your time and that you are pampered with all their attention.

At the lunch time, the gulet is moored in the same or different bay. The meals are served at the aft deck, under the sun awning. The magnificent scenery of sea and nature, combined with excellently prepared meals, provide the intimate and joyfull atmosphere.

The daily duration of the sailing is about 4 hours, which is quite enough to glide between the ports.
The whole rest of the day is full of opportunities for water sports and activities, relaxing at the sun bathing mattresses on the deck and at later afternoon, the gulet sails towards the next port, where you can have dinner in the restaurant and visit the village.
In case the gulet is anchored in front of the port, there is a dinghy to take you in the port and to come for you when you feel like it.

Once in the port, you can spend you time however you wish. We can organize for you guided tours to visit the sights or you can explore the village by yourselves. If you prefer having a dinner in the restaurant, the table can be reserved for you.

Each day, you will be discovering new bays and new villages, which will make you wish the cruising never ends. Getting close to nature will reveal the necessity of getting closer to your family and friends, to enjoy more and to let yourselves mind free.

There is nothing more beautiful than having a dinner anchored in the quiet bay, while the only sounds you hear are the sounds of the sea. Those are the moments our guests come to experience.

Some of our guests even prefer spending a night at open air, on the deck under the stars.

The whole cruising is ment to be as relaxed as possible and everything is planned in advance according to your preferences, from the itinerary to the meals. The crew is there for you, to be at your disposal for anything you need and to provide you the most memorable cruising.

SOME ESSENTIAL INFORMATION

Behind each well planned cruising, there are efforts on assuring our guests have the safe cruise, the excellent crew service, the fresh meals and itinerary according to their wishes. When it comes to safety, this is the most important issue on the boat. That is why there are some rules, which must be obeyed by both, the crew and the guests.
Please read the above information regarding the safety and the essential advices in order to keep safety on board as high as possible and to have the pleasurable cruising.

FOOD ON BOARD

Each boat has the chef who is the permanent member of the crew, thus assuring he is well trained and experienced in preparing and serving delicious specialties on board. The menus are planned according to the guests´ likes and dislikes. The chefs always try to provide the authentic gastonomic offer from our country, incorporating your preferences. The food ingredients, fish, meat, vegetables and fruits are always fresh, bought from the locals. We will never serve you the frozen food or anything that is not fresh.
Our guests can choose the half board (breakfast and lunch) and in this option are guests have thier dinners in the ports. There is also the full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Drinks are not included in the food prices. There are two options for the drinks. The guests can take all inclusive drink option (which includes only Croatian alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, foreigh, if consumed, are extra fee) or take the drinks from the boat bar and pay according to the consumption.
It is not allowe to bring the drinks and the food on board.

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES, SERVICES, SPECIAL OCCASIONS

Anyting you can think of, we can provide.
If you feel like having additional activities while on cruising, like diving, having wine tours, wine tasting, biking, hiking, guided tours, rafting and similar, please inform us so we can arrange it for you. We will also reserve the table for you if you prefer having your dinner in the restaurants, or even order the menu in advance.
The boats are magnificent settings for celebrating various occasions, weddings, teambuildings, business meetings and presentations, incentives, birthday parties, live music, surprise parties...There is nothing we can´t do, you only have to ask.

ITINERARY

Although we strive to provide you the agreed itinerary, based on your preferences and our suggestions, the weather conditions are the main factor when it comes to sailing. If the weather codnitions do not allow sailing to the planned port, the captain will inform the guests and adjust the itinerary according to the conditions. We kindly ask you to understand that the safety of the guests, the crew and the boat is above all the other conditions..

SMOKING

For safety reasons, it is strongly forbidden to smoke under the decks, in cabins and indoor salon. Gulets are wooden boats and thus very sensitive. The guests are allowed to smoke on the decks.

WATER SPORTS EQUIPMENT

The gulets have very good water sports equipment, such as water ski, snorkel equipment, windsurfing, jet ski, canoe and similar, depending on the gulet. The crew will assist you in the water sports and take care of your safety. Please note that you use the water sports equipment at your own responsibility therefore, we advice you to be careful and to use is properly.

TOILETS, WATER AND ELECTRICITY

The toilets on the gulet are very sensitive and can be easily blocked. The captain will instruct you the first day on how to use it, please make sure you operate it according to that instructions and do not drop down the toilet what you should not to.
Water and electricity supply are limited. We would kindly ask you to respect some rules such as: turn off the lights while you are not in the cabin, turn off the electrical appliances if it is not necessary to be on, close the water while you are not using it, keep your showers short.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING

When it comes to spending the time on the boat, you should bring as less as possible. Although, some items are essential.
Some of the gulets provide sun bathing towels and some not, please ask of this option, so you could know whether to bring them or not.
The atmosphere on the boat is very casual, you will spend most of the day in your swim suite, shorts and T-shirts. For the nights in ports, you may want to bring additional clothes, also please pay attention of unpredictable weather and cool breeze and bring some warmer clothes.

Since you will be seeing the most amazing sceneries of your life, bring your camera to make them eternal. You will have enough time on the boat for yourselves so you can bring a book or anything you might find attractive to spend the lazy afternoon with.

Although, most of the gulets are supplied with basic toilet items, we advice bringing your own tooth paste, shampoo and shower gel. The hand and shower towels are provided for each guest.

In case you forgot to bring something you need, and there is no such item on the boat, please just inform us and we will give our best to provide it and deliver it to you on the boat.
